Trumps Hear Plea at National Prayer Service

On their first full day back in the White House Tuesday, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended the National Prayer Service at Washington National Cathedral where the Episcopal bishop of Washington made a plea to the president to have mercy on migrant workers who are illegally in the United States and for people in the LGBTQ+ community.
“You have felt the providential hand of a loving God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now,” said Right Rev. Mariann Budde during the service.
