Thanksgiving Remembered
Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter and daughter, Amy, pardon a turkey in 1978 and other nostalgic moments captured.

In the Blue Room at the White House last week, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden talked about how her faith guided her through her darkest days as she ushered in the Thanksgiving season.
“We all go through darkness at some point in our lives — perhaps some of you are even in it now,” Biden said. “I hope you have someone to help you find that light that can never be extinguished.”
The Bidens this week went on to pardon two national turkeys “Liberty” and “Bell” and joined service members and their families at a “Friendsgiving” dinner at Norfolk Naval Station in Virginia.
