President Joe Biden Drops Out of the Race and Endorses Kamala Harris as Nominee

President Joe Biden announced he would not seek reelection in the 2024 presidential race Sunday afternoon in a letter he posted on social media. The president quickly followed up his announcement by saying he wants to offer his “full support and endorsement” for Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee.

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden immediately reposted the president’s letter on her personal social media handle with heart emojis.
