After months of trying to shut down divorce rumors through social media posts and various podcasts, former First Lady Michelle Obama Wednesday welcomed her husband, former President Barack Obama, to her new podcast to, again, dispel the gossip.
Before the show even got started the Obamas with Craig Robinson, the former first lady’s brother and co-host of their IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson podcast began by saying this is the episode everyone has been “waiting for with bated breath.”
Rumors around the Obamas marriage first began when the Mrs. Obama opted not to attend two high profile events—the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter in early January 2025 where she would have been seated next to President-elect Donald Trump and the second inauguration of Mr. Trump later that month.
