‘It’s the Stupidity’ Says Hillary Clinton
Scathing op-ed questions Trump administration’s ‘grand strategy’ that could leave the U.S. ‘feeble and friendless.’

Hillary Clinton assailed the Trump administration Friday calling its top officials reckless, “dangerous” and “just dumb” in an essay following the continued fallout from the Signal chat scandal and while the billionaire Elon Musk-led slashing of the federal workforce continues.
Clinton, who has served as secretary of state, Democratic presidential candidate, U.S. senator from New York and first lady, opened the op-ed in The New York Times by saying, “It’s not the hypocrisy that bothers me; it’s the stupidity.”
Clinton went on to say that Trump and his team don’t care about protecting classified information or federal record retention laws. What’s much worse, she said, was how the officials shared military plans on Signal, a commercial messaging app, and “unwittingly” invited a journalist.
