The Canton, Ohio-based National First Ladies Library & Museum will be taking their programming on the road to Naples, Florida, this month with a sit-down brunch and intimate discussion with keynote speaker Anita McBride, former chief of staff to former First Lady Laura Bush and co-author of Remember the First Ladies: The Legacies of America’s History-Making Women.

The event “Fabulous First Ladies Brunch,” a fund-raiser for the National First Ladies Library & Museum, will be held on January 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Wyndemere Country Club in Naples. It will also include an exclusive, personal video message from Mrs. Bush to guests in attendance.

Audience members can expect the discussion to touch on untold stories of America’s first ladies, Patty Dowd Schmitz, president and CEO of the National First Ladies Library & Museum at the First Ladies National Historic Site, told East Wing Magazine in a recent interview ahead of the event.
