Author: Melania Trump a Hidden Force in 2024 Campaign

The first lady frowned on her husband dancing at campaign rallies and thwarted him from attacking a rival on social media, author says.

Melania Trump, who was characterized as practically nonexistent during the 2024 presidential campaign, has been portrayed as a behind-the-scenes influencer in the newly released book Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power.

Author Alex Isenstadt on the Michael Smerconish Program on the POTUS channel, Sirius XM, Monday discussed how Mrs. Trump offers her husband strong thoughts on stylistic matters. For instance, Isenstadt says in the interview, that the first lady, before returning to the White House, doesn’t like when her husband dances at campaign rallies.

“And of course, he doesn’t listen to her on that front,” Isenstadt says. “But, he does listen to her on other fronts.”
